
Cindy McKissock is an award-winning digital product executive with over 20 years of leadership in financial services digital transformation. She is currently the Global Head of Product Growth at Lab49, a boutique digital innovation firm exclusively serving Tier 1 financial services firms and central banks. In her role at Lab49 Cindy leads business development and engagements for key clients. Previously, Cindy was a fractional Chief Product Officer with her own firm. Before that Cindy served as Vice President and Enterprise Head of Product Design at Fannie Mae, where she established an award-winning design and UX corporate function. Prior to that Cindy was Vice President Product for Fannie Mae and delivered multiple large scale transformation programs for capital markets owning a multi-million dollar product portfolio and delivered new securitization platforms and the whole loan conduit pricing and execution platform. Her first role at Fannie Mae was as an engineer. Cindy began her career at the International Monetary Fund where she held various roles in technology delivery. Cindy holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of Virginia and a Master of Science in Information Systems Technology from The George Washington University. She has completed executive programs at UCLA Anderson, Harvard Business School, Stanford University’s d.school, and MIT Sloan, specializing in leadership and design thinking[1]. Cindy is a founding member of Design Leaders. She is a mentor, speaker, and expert on innovation for financial services She is a member of Chief, the Financial Women’s Association, Women in Financial Markets, Women in Housing and Finance, and Women in Securities Finance and Women in Technology and is active as a mentor, speaker, and expert on innovation for financial services.
